At WZIP Radio (88.1 FM), I gained hands-on experience working with a commercial-free, student-run station that broadcasts a variety of programs. In my role within Entertainment and Promotions, I contributed to maintaining WZIP's lively presence both on-air and through promotional activities. This involved assisting with website maintenance, co-coordinating appearances, and helping to plan special events. I collaborated with other departments, such as music programming, news, and sports, to enhance listener engagement and promote the station's dynamic content.

WZIP provided me with the opportunity to build a foundational skill set in broadcasting, including operating studio equipment, creating audio and written content, conducting interviews, and producing material heard by over 125,000 listeners weekly.
